Freedom From Fear Is in Your Mouth

Around every corner, behind every bush, in every shadow or passing thought, fear—anxiety about something or someone—can try to get your attention. It can be something as simple as what to wear, getting the kids off to school, or what to have for dinner. It can be as life-altering as packing for a big move or being in an accident.
Good news! You don’t have to be held hostage to the fear of anything or anyone any longer. It’s possible for a believer to experience freedom from fear with the power of faith. You can literally talk your way out of fear by speaking freedom, because your words have power.
God’s Word is truth, and it not only frees us from fear, but it also builds within us courage and strength (Joshua 1:7-9). There is a catch, however, to enjoying this freedom Jesus promised. You have to believe that God means what He says and that this freedom is for you—that’s faith!
Experience freedom from fear with these 10 scriptures !
- “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32, NKJV).
God’s Word will make me free if I believe and speak it.
- “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:36, NKJV).
The Son makes me free; therefore, I am totally free from all fear.
- “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1, NKJV).
I am free forever; I refuse any type of bondage.
- “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17).
God’s Spirit is in me; therefore, I am free from fear.
- “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters” (Galatians 5:13). “Don’t slip back into your old ways of living” (1 Peter 1:14).
I am called to live in freedom, and I do not slip back into my old ways of living in fear.
- “I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments” (Psalm 119:45).
I walk in freedom from all fear because I have devoted myself to God’s Word.
- “Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do” (Acts 13:38-49).
I acknowledge Jesus as my Savior and devote myself to Him (God’s Word ), therefore I am cleared and freed from all fear.
- “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life” (Romans 6:22).
I am free from the power of sin and fear. I only do those things that lead to holiness and godliness in Christ.
- “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death” (Romans 8:1-2).
I do not walk according to fear, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin, death and all fear.
- “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
I will not fear because God is my God and He is with me.
