10 Scriptures To Create an Attitude of Thanksgiving

A number of years ago, Kenneth Copeland twisted his back and ruptured a disk. Immediately, he began to experience horrific pain. His body was screaming at him; he probably “felt” like screaming a lot of things while he was in pain. A person who is in excruciating pain doesn’t usually have the best attitude.
Contrary to what his body was saying, Brother Copeland began shouting praises to God as loud as he could while medical personnel rushed to his aid. While he was praising, the pain subsided, but any time he stopped, the pain returned. Realizing what was happening, Kenneth began to praise God for everything—the trees, the birds, the weather, his family and his Partners. And as he did, the pain subsided once more.
When you’re surrounded by pain or pressure, when you’re being attacked by the enemy, do you typically respond as Brother Copeland did with words of praise and thanksgiving? If you find it difficult to do so when circumstances come against you, it’s time to renew your mind with God’s Word (Romans 12:2, NKJV). Get started today with these 10 Scriptures To Create an Attitude of Thanksgiving, so when the pressure is on, words of praise and thanksgiving are coming out of your mouth!
- “Serve the LORD your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received…” (Deuteronomy 28:47).
- “Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy” (Psalm 100:1-2).

My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” (Psalm 103:1-5).
